Whether your goal is recreational flying, or launching a career in aviation, you’ve come to the right place because we make flight training easy and fun. There are challenges, of course, but each is a manageable step, a gradual progression that allows you to expand your knowledge and skills at your own pace.
To receive flight instruction at the Windsor Flying Club a student must be a club member and must be a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, or be lawfully admitted to Canada for flight training.
Applicants may begin flight training at any age; however there is a minimum age that must be attained before each level of licence can be issued.
Prior to first solo, an applicant must successfully complete a medical examination by a Transport Canada approved examiner, and achieve a pass on the “PSTAR” pre solo exam.
Flight Training Rates
Windsor Flying Club rates are based on Transport Canada minimum licensing requirements and may increase somewhat as a result of individuals’ needs, weather conditions, the type of aircraft selected, and other factors.
